Post subject: ApocaLARP Fighter Practice/Playtest
Come to the first playtest/fighter practice for ApocaLARP!
Sunday March 18
10am to 2pm
El Dorado Park, Long Beach
I will post more information about the location later. Probably next weekend after I drive over there and look around a bit. It's a really big park, so I need to give details about what part of the park to meet at.
Don't worry about costumes or anything like that. This will be a fighter practice where we test out the rules a bit. I will bring the skill list and we will bang out quick characters.
Bring:
-Any light-touch boffer weapons you have. Especially weird ones like 2h swords, polearms, and things like that.
-LARP-safe shields.
-Unmodified NERF guns and ammo. Dart guns, ball guns, missile/arrow guns, whatever.
-Spell packets.
-Eye protection of some sort. Sunglasses, goggles, whatever. Anything that covers your eyes more than wire-frame glasses.
-Yourself and a friend.
-Your thinking cap. I want lots of feedback.
I'll supply:
-Food and drinks.
-As many weapons as I can.
-Rules and guidance.
